Sales Executive Packaging Film (f/m/d)

Key Tasks:

The Sales Executive will report to the Sales Manager Scandinavia. The position is responsible for sales of high value flexible packaging in Denmark, mainly in non-food segment.

The tasks include:

  • Drive profitable growth and share expansion within the assigned territory
  • Realize volume growth targets
  • Meet the agreed revenue targets
  • Prepare budget / account plans.
  • Build up area knowledge
  • Propose and close contracts with accounts
  • Actively contribute and control financial issues like credit lines, day’s sales outstanding and bad debts
  • Improve price/margin performance of sales vs. benchmarks
  • Build and maintain relationships with all the key players in customer organization as Purchasing, R&D and other Management Departments
  • Proactively work on optimization of relations with assigned customers by setting-up new programs and projects to increase value for both partners and achieve optimum margins.
  • Manage and resolve issues at assigned accounts relating to product performance, pricing, service, etc.
  • Organize, coordinate and conduct customer sales presentations
  • Monitor competition developments in his/her territory regarding marketing strategies, pricing structures or product performance and report.
  • Proactively maintain appropriate knowledge base of products, global manufacturing competencies, along with knowledge of allied and customer industries

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor/Master degree in Business administration or similar studies.

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in sales or marketing in flexible packaging (printed or unprinted)
  • Experience and knowledge in food market would be an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills to effectively manage business growth
  • Technical expertise of extruded films and/or flexible packaging materials
  • Knowledge of end-user equipment and applications
  • Computer Skills: MS-Office Languages:
  • Danish fluent
  • English fluent
  • Other languages would be a plus
