The Company:

Our client is a leading containerboard producer for FMCG and consumer products, E-commerce and retail and automotive, heavy-duty and other specialised applications within a company group with four business units: Corrugated Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Engineered Materials and Uncoated Fine Paper.

Location: Germany – Home Office

Your Key Tasks:

Be a part of it!

  • You will work in close cooperation with the regional Sales Directors to define targets for new business development activities in the regions
  • You will collaborate with cross functional teams for joint initiatives
  • You are accountable to identify new markets and end-use applications to grow sales for the Business Segment
  • You are focused on development and growth of new business opportunities for the business segment Corrugated Solution
  • You are in charge of managing and grow assigned regional accounts and ensure fulfilment of sales volume and margin targets
  • You actively lead commercial initiatives to scale existing innovation solutions in the regions, in close collaboration with the regional sales teams
  • You are able to define and drive the development of new initiatives to establish corrugated solutions as replacement for other packaging materials
  • You define target events and marketing activities to grow the business in close collaboration with our regional and central marketing teams

Your Profile:

Passion for Packaging!

  • You have significant experience (5 years+) in successful business development and/or sales in an international/regional environment of the packaging industry
  • You are able to manage complex business development and commercial projects and to flourish with minimal guidance
  • Your affinity to new solution development and cross-functional understanding of processes is outstanding
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You are a highly motivated self-starter with keen desire for success
  • A matter of course for you is entrepreneurial mindset as well as strong analytical and commercial mind-set
  • You are willing to travel up to 50%
  • You are fluent in German & English

Advantageous

  • You have industry experience in corrugated packaging
  • You are experienced in collaborating with FMCG/retail companies
