Industrial Sector: Flexible Packaging
Company:
Our customer is a leading company of flexible packaging. The company supply barrier film, wicketed bags, pouches and flexible packaging for Food, Non-Food, Hygiene components, Household and In-Mold Label.
Location: Home Office
Responsibilities:
- Anticipation of market trends and identification of potential profitable opportunities and competition analysis
- Identifying potential customers, defining the targets bottom-up, defining the customer value propositions based on customer needs
Key Tasks:
- Proven track record of successfully selling in a true business development role to medium- big sized businesses
- Sound understanding of all production processes
- Good technical knowledge to manage and implement new product developments
- Willingness to travel and report visits to head office or delegate to the team
- Focus on delivering value to the customers and profit for the company
- External (Customers, market-shareholders) and Internal (R&D, Manufacturing) Relationship Management
Education:
Degree or apprenticeship
Professional Experience:
- minimum 5- 10 years’ experience in flexibles packaging (rollstocks, bags and pouches)
- Extensive knowledge of the European flexibles non-food market
- Experience of working with blue chip companies/ key customers
Languages:
- English
- German
- French (any additional language would be considered as an asset)

- Good cross-cultural understanding
- Effective communicator, verbal, written and electronic presentations
- Good team working ethic
- Strong persistence to reach goals, ability to work autonomously and results-oriented
